BIOGRAPHY

In 2002, John J. Tait started laying the foundation for what would become Blackwood Management, Inc. Mr. Tait has taken Blackwood Management’s portfolio from one small Homeowner’s Association with 54 homes in January 2003 to eighteen Homeowner’s Associations and three Commercial Condominium Associations with 1,463 commercial units, homes and townhouses currently under management.

A native of central Minnesota, he has an extensive background in Information Management. Prior to joining Blackwood Management, Inc., he left a military career serving our country in the US Air Force with an Honorable Discharge after 21 years service.

His current property management portfolio includes a mix of residential and commercial property associations throughout the Fredericksburg area including the counties of Stafford, Spotsylvania, Culpeper, and Prince William. Professional affiliations include membership in the Community Associations Institute (CAI).
